Redbeard Bikes — a busy bike fit studio & bike shop in Brooklyn (est 2012) — seeks a knowledgeable, hardworking mechanic and/or salesperson to work with Ilya, shop founder and bike fitter.

Dream candidate solves problems, is very organized and self-sufficient, and communicates well with colleagues, customers & vendors. Likes and rides bikes, and enjoys helping others enjoy cycling.

If you’re applying for the mechanic role: you should be able to build a Parlee/Seven/Mosaic, order components, handle warranties.

In either role, you will be supporting Ilya. Sense of humor and nerdiness will go a long way!

Salary commensurate w/ experience. Consistent schedule, paid vacation. Looking for a 2-year commitment if you’re a good fit.
